I'd like to announce a new ScreenCasting series that I'm starting up.
Notes in Nine
This will contain short tips and techniques focused on Lotus Notes and Domino. I plan on having topics geared for end users and beginning to middle developers. I think there's not enough information available for the new or inexperienced developer and I'd like to change that.
Why is it called "Notes in Nine"?
Because I'm going to really try not to stay around 9 minutes in length. One reason is that YouTube, who I'll be using for now, has a 10 minute limit on videos. I'm going to try to stick with YouTube, rather then a more flexible hosting company, in an effort to make these videos more available. I think this is important when I get to end user videos. Another reason for the shorter lengths is quite frankly, I've got a face for radio and a voice for silent films. Viewers might not be able to take more then 9 minutes of me. :)
So anyway, here you go. Episode 1 I guess you could say. This show deals with XPages and Repeat Controls. I show how a repeat control can be used to display data from a view without it looking like a typical table. If you're a Design Partner there isn't anything to see here. But if you're new to XPages or thinking about what XPages can do for you, this might be worth a look.

Technical Notes:
I tried to embed this video but didn't like how it looks. I recorded it at 1280x720 so it's best displayed in full screen at that resolution. The link above is using the "fmt=22" trick. While this looks very sharp on my main Mac screen, viewing it inside a Virtual Windows machine makes it look a little blocky. I'm not sure what that's about.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any feedback or insight that anyone may have.
